LYSI Company was established in 1938 and since that time has built up extensive knowledge in the production of marine lipids (fish oil and its products) and became a global leader in its field. Company’s research has been ongoing for over forty years and today LYSI is at the forefront of research and product development in its field.

LYSI original products are still produced today. The principal product is LYSI Cod Liver Oil, along with other fish oil products such as Omega-3 and Shark Liver Oil.
LYSI Cod Liver Oil capsules are made from pure cod liver oil and are available in Latvia in 280 mg capsules, 100 capsules per pack. LYSI Cod Liver Oil is available in natural flavour, fruit flavour and lemon flavour, in 240 ml bottles. LYSI Children’s Cod Liver Oil is available with natural flavour and it is possible to use it from birth. The oil is extracted from cod liver and is rich in vitamins A and D. Vitamins A and D are necessary to ensure normal growth and healthy eyesight, as well as to strengthen teeth and bones.

A great deal of research has been done on influence of omega-3 fatty acids and the results have been published in prominent scientific journals worldwide.
